Bristol North Open Meet

Saturday 27th September 2008

Well done to all the swimmers that took part in this event. James Bramwell won Best Boy after two impressive swims in the 50m freestyle and 50m breaststroke. Holly Gullick yet again swam into first place in the 11 year olds 100m backstroke with a time of 1.17.29. A special mention must also go to the two 9 year old medley relay teams who both won a place in the finals. The A team (Millie Dadds, Charlotte Bowden, Brooke Edwards & Rebecca Lucas) came a very close second with a time of 1.26.16 and the B team (Amy Hodder, Lauren Gifford, Jessie Dadds & Rebecca Hodder) took fifth place with a time of 1.32.26.  The 12 year old medley relay team (Lucinda Hoy-Green, Katie Davies, Holly Gullick & Charlotte Bradley) also had a fantastic swim winning 3rd place in the finals. Other finalists in the individual events were Lucinda Hoy-Green, Lucy Davis, Charlotte Bradley, Scott Bradley, Millie Dadds, James Gahame, Lauren Gifford & Charlotte Bowden.
